Marrow of the Mind - 88 To Rochelle / Naples Deli 7" 45

Marrow of the Mind is a group formed by Tony Janda and Meaty Ogre around 2004. Mostly, it went that Tony always had incredible records and samples he wanted to do something with, he would come over, circulate the blunt while I did the chopping and slicing while Tony threw out ideas. We made 4 songs total, which both ended up on 7".

Tony used to drive out to Rochelle, Illinois, where I was living at the time. We recorded 2 tunes and drove to the South Bronx to mix and master with FredOne at his dope TME PRO studio. 

Naples Deli was a small Italian deli in Rochelle. You had to take highway Highway 290 to 88 from Chicago to get to me in Rochelle,.

Tony passed away in 2012.  I only ever had a handful of copies, and I recently got in touch with Tony's partner and my sweet friend, Gaelin, who graciously sent me a small box of copies.  I offer them up to you here if you never got one, brand new out the box.

Rest in peace to my good friend Tony Janda. I love you and miss you.
